Anniversary Trip

from April & Jake, 30 May 2010 0 comments

April and I took a childless expedition into our childhood and roamed the countryside in SE Idaho for a week. It was fabulous and without children. We had fun by ourselves. All alone. Together. ... Without children. And we love Dallin.

The big day, redrawn

My mom tipped David off to the fact that we love one of our wedding pictures -- except for the ghastly light pole right in the middle of the frame. I have no idea how the guy didn't notice this obtrusive fact when he shot the picture. Well, David offered his expertise, and the work that he produced is great! It's off the printing presses with you! Thanks, Dave!

Christmas in Idaho

from Jake, 03 Jan 2010 2 comments

We went up to visit mine (Jake's) parents and family who all camped at the home base for a sequence of celebrations set to rival any previous. It was very fun. It was Dallin's first Christmas, and we were very excited to share it with him.

Slipin' Slide Summer

The end of the summer is now! Bring on the snow. Ok, maybe not yet. We need to camp a few times before then. We tried to cram in the most we could into our hot summer together. And as a good round off (Olympic allusion) to one of the 4 best seasons of the year, we took a road trip to Idaho for the weekend. Beautiful Idaho was there, winning her way to fame (5th grade allusion).

We love each other and doing this podcast. Any of you that want to contribute a higher-quality mic, I'll furnish you with shipping reimbursement and a valid street address (Don't trust the one on the Whoop Club website).

River of Ridiculousness

Some people may tube on a lake. Some people may ski where there is ample room for wide turns. But, not us! We ride on the River of Ridiculousness. In this case, the river is the Snake River, and my grandpa is trying to get us back for running around in his house when we were younger. It was smashing fun!
