Ok, good times
Haha, as a part of my YouTube regiment today, this Ok Go Million Ways to be Cruel remake of awesomeness came back to me. April and I love it. David, you and your pals are high-class gents! Enjoy Houston, buddy.
Follow the Prophet
Here's our FHE addition to the canon of children's songs. Two new verses of Follow the Prophet for the rising generation:
Gordon B. Hinckley, happy and upbeat.
Helping build the family, it’s always a big feat.
Helped build many temples, taught youth the "6 Be's".
Him will we remember for eternities.
Thomas S. Monson, called for us today.
He’s our living prophet, in the latter-day.
Stories of compassion, we always love to hear,
Setting an example, filling us with cheer.
What is this Beat?
It's so similar between all 3, it's crazy. 3 guys in the office thought this hummed beat was from 3 different songs:
Background music to WallE Tailer
Music of Goo
Hey all ya happy people! As previously posted, there's a great new indie game out called World of Goo. It's fun, it's quirky, and a large part of that fun is created by the great soundtrack. And now, that soundtrack is available for download! And best of all, it's free!
Get it here.
I thoroughly enjoyed it while playing the game. Hopefully it's as good thru iTunes.
Gangsta' Popcorn Poppin'
I've sub'd as pianist in primary lately quite a bit, but I have yet to hear such a version of popcorn poppping...

Although junior primary does get close sometimes.
Idol Candidate
Somehow the word has gotten out. Sure, you'd think in a sterile software development environment with nothing but flying fingers, square eyes, and sore backs no one would have ever discovered my hidden aspirations.
The Bakers
My sisters make the big time with this new smash hit remake of the Aquabat's "The Baker". It is beyond cool. Its awesome awesomeness will take these two young stars to great heights, perhaps landing them in the parody wonder world created by the likes of Weird Al and other sound-alikes.
If you're in for a fun couple minutes, find a place you can laugh heartily, and relive the old glory of the Aquabats as they used to be, now with some better-looking faces, slightly less goofy antics, and less spandexy costumes. :)
You go, girls!
